INSTANT BOOKING

HOW DOES THIS SYSTEM WORK?

This system allows you to see all the dates and times available, and to book the one that suits you best. You'll be able to complete your booking in a quick and easy way.

-Access to the time slot link you want to book. This will bring you to the bookings calendar.

-Select the date and time you want to book and continue to the next page.

-Enter all the details requested. Be as accurate as you can with the tattoo description.

-Proceed with the deposit payment through PayPal.

-Once the payment has been done, confirm the booking.

-After completing the booking, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.

-Another automatic email with the Cancellations and studio policies will be sent. In this same one, some additional information will be requested. You can attach the reference images there and give more details about the tattoo.

If the design has been discussed beforehand through Instagram or any other channel, no further action needs to be done. If not, I strongly recommend replying to this email, so the design can be ready for the appointment date.

HOW CAN I DECIDE WHICH TIME SLOT IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME?

Next to every link in the "Bookings" page, you will find examples of tattoos suitable for each time slot. If you are not sure which option to choose or if you want to have a chat in advance, feel free to message me.

For larger pieces or projects (full/half sleeves, back pieces, etc.), it's always recommended to have a chat in advance. This will help me to have a better idea of the time needed. Same if a full day wants to be booked.

CAN I BOOK FOR TWO OR MORE PEOPLE IN THE SAME TIME SLOT?

Yes, this is possible. Please make sure the option selected is the adequate for the number of people and the size of the tattoo desired.

It's recommended having one hour per person (approx). If you have any doubt, please get in touch so we can discuss it.

The maximum amount of people in the same booking is three. If you want to book four or more, please create individual bookings por each one.

For group bookings, please send me a message in advance to have a chat about it.

HOW FAR CAN I BOOK MY APPOINTMENT?

My bookings are usually open every 2 months (this can vary depending on the season). That means that the rest of the year will be closed and only the selected months will be available.

If an appointment is booked a few months in advance, it will be reviewed and the customer will be notified if the dates are not suitable, or if a reschedule needs to be done.

CONSULTATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS

HOW CAN I BOOK WITHOUT USING THE INSTANT BOOKING SYSTEM?

If you are unable to book using the Instant Booking system, please message me to proceed with a manual booking.

The manual booking will require a €50 deposit that can be paid in cash, card, Revolut or PayPal.

HOW DO I BOOK A CONSULTATION/TOUCH UP?

To book a free consultation or a touch up, please message me through any of my social channels.

The consultations and touch up's won't be booked through the Instant Booking system as the deposit is not required.

Consultations and touch ups are usually 30 mins long.

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

Yes, all bookings must be secured with a €50 deposit.

If you book through the Instant Booking system, the deposit will be required to confirm the booking. This deposit will be paid through PayPal.

If you are booked manually, the deposit can be paid in cash or by card at the studio, or sent using Revolut or PayPal.

The deposit will come off the total price of the tattoo. In a group booking, it can be split or deducted to the person who paid it.

A deposit is not necessary for consultations or touch ups.

As per studio policy, deposits are non-refundable. However, if a reschedule needs to be done, the deposit will be valid for the new date.

CAN I SEE THE FINAL DESIGN BEFORE BOOKING?

Unfortunately, no. Designs will be done once the booking is confirmed and the deposit has been paid. They will be usually ready one or two days before the appointment date.

Always try to provide as many reference images and details as you can. This will help during the design process.

If you want to make sure your idea is understood and you want to see a rough sketch of your design, feel free to book a consultation.

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

Yes. You can reschedule your appointment up to two times. If the appointment needs to be reschedule a third time, we'll proceed with the cancellation and a new booking will need to be done.

If you booked through the Instant Bookings system, you can reschedule the appointment anytime from your calendar. Access to the "Reschedule" link that you will find on the event details.

If the booking was done manually through the studio or me, please message us to proceed with the changes and to check other dates available.

HOW MUCH NOTICE IS NEEDED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule or to cancel an appointment. If enough notice is given, your deposit will be honoured for the new booking's date.

If you notice a few hours prior the appointment or do not show up, your deposit will be lost.

If you arrive more than 20 minutes late to your appointment, this one will be cancelled and the deposit will be lost. For free consultations, it will be 10 minutes late.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I SHOW TO MY APPOINTMENT? WHAT IF I'M LATE?

The recommended time is between 5 and 10 minutes, but it's always appreciated to show in time.

The Ink Collective is a busy studio with so many artists in it. Sometimes, the waiting area can get uncomfortably crowded if clients show for their appointment too early.

Showing up at the correct time will make things easier for the rest of the clients and for the tattoo artists.

Due to some circumstances, you might be late to your appointment. If this is the case, please notify the artist or the studio as soon as possible. If neither the artist or the studio are notified, the appointment will be automatically cancelled after 20 minutes.

GENERAL TATTOO QUESTIONS

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY NEW TATTOO AND HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

You will find all the aftercare steps in the "Aftercare" page or, if you prefer, you can download the pdf version here.

The healing times may vary depending on the type of tattoo you get, the style, the size and how well you look after your tattoo.

A tattoo usually takes about 3-4 weeks to be fully healed, but this time can vary on each person.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE LIMIT?

Yes, you MUST be over 18 to get tattooed. IDs will be required at every appointment.

If an underage customer books an appointment, this will be immediately cancelled and the deposit will be refunded (deducting PayPal's transactions fees).

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Make sure your skin is hydrated drinking lots of water and applying moisturiser days prior to your appointment.

It's recommended to wear loose and comfortable clothing for your comfort, as sometimes you could be seated for long periods of time. Also, they will be less restrictive with your skin once the tattoo is finished. 

Do not come to your tattoo session drunk or hungover. You should be well rested and after having some food.

Extra care of personal hygiene prior to attending your session is recommended.

HOW TO REQUEST A COMMISSION?

To request a commission, you can fill in the Contact form, message me in one of my social media accounts or email me here.

Please send me a small description of what you want or the idea you have in mind. 

The price will depend on the size desired and the amount of detail of the piece.

The final product will be sent to your email address in .jpg or .png format (as preferred) full quality with no watermarks.

As tattooing is my main income source, I might refuse taking some commissions if other tattoo task require priority.

CAN I USE ONE OF YOUR DRAWINGS/TATTOOS AS A REFERENCE?

If you want to use one of my designs as reference to create your own, you are more than welcome. However, I would appreciate being contacted in advance or receiving the corresponding credit afterwards.

All my pieces are under copyright, so please avoid any plagiarism or bad use of them.
